He’s super hyper today, took some effort to get him to sit still for long enough to get the photo.
How he manages to sit under my chair and never get run over is beyond me

On the other hand, it’s also irritating when someone endlessy complains about not having a job and when you finally ask them where they’ve applied to try to move the conversation along they respond with something like “Well, nowhere yet but I’ve been revising my resume/portfolio!” or “Just Disney (or whatever other exceptionally optimistic job that parallels in other professions)”.
I mean, I’ve been there, I know what it’s like to pound the pavement fruitlessly for months and I’m sure I’ll be back there again someday with the nature of the entertainment industry and all, but I’ve also met my share of folks who confuse “sitting at home and feeling sorry for myself while I invent excuses not to look for work” with “job hunting”.
